Our story
Meet Fermin, Juana and Hugo, the founders behind Milasburg. From Buenos Aires, Fermin and Juana, arrived in Williamsburg in 2021. Hugo, originally from Cordoba, moved blocks away from the couple in 2023. Milasburg began as a casual exchange between friends who were looking to share their passion for food with their local neighborhood. What began as a mere idea turned into long conversations about a longing for homemade Argentinian dishes, and Milasburg was born.
Here's a bit of our story.
Missing That Argentine Comfort
In the heart of our neighborhood, Williamsburg, we were chasing our dreams but we couldn't shake off our craving for typical food from home, especially the iconic Argentine beef milanesas. So, the best solution to that was to make them ourselves, fry them in our own kitchen and get to share the love with friends by bringing everyone together.
The Turning Point
Our milanesas soon became the life of the party, and our friends couldn't get enough of them. That's when the lightbulb moment hit us – why not share this delight from home with a much wider crowd? Encouraged by our pals' requests for more and more milanesas, we decided to make it official.
Milasburg: Where Argentina Meets New York
And that's how Milasburg came to be! We're all about bringing a slice of Argentina to the fun streets of Williamsburg. Our name, Milasburg, is a reference to the neighborhood we now call home. We're not just serving up crispy and juicy treats, we're giving Argentinians a taste to remind them of home.
The Road Ahead
We're just getting started! Our dreams are as big as the flavors in our milanesas. We're almost all set to ship our milanesas nationwide so you can enjoy a taste of Argentina wherever you are. Plus, we're eager to team up with wholesale clients who share our passion for great food and will help us expand our reach.
A Place of Our Own
Our future? The vision for our dream spot is a place where you can indulge in a variety of Milasburg milanesas and other typical treats to your heart's content. Stay tuned because that's on our roadmap too!
So, why have you not ordered your milanesa yet? Let's keep the tradition alive and bring the taste of Argentina to your plate, one milanesa at a time. We're thrilled to have you along for the ride!
With Love,
Fermin, Juana and Hugo.
